It's pretty amazing here, I love every one here! The food isn't too bad. I'm not sure if I'm gaining weight or losing it, but I think I'll be fine while I'm here. I'm missing you guys and I love you. I saw Brother McClay, my seminary teacher from forever ago.
It's been hard being away from all of you and knowing I'll be gone for a long time. I wish I was out of the MTC already if you can believe that. I want to be getting out and doing the work. But I know that I have some stuff that I have to learn first. I feel like I'm going just a little crazy. Three days feel like six!. But P days aren't bad at all. I like them a lot.
The people in my room are all awesome and all more than 6 feet tall--so I am the shortest one of everyone--it's crazy. They are cool and we all help each other with everything here. They are my bro's. I feel comfortable around them. The beds are pretty gross, but the showers are the worst. I hear Sunday's are amazing here.
I love the package you sent me. I haven't been able to read the letter in it because I had to run out of my room. But I'll read it very soon.
I am teaching a teacher investigator, roll play type of thing. And it's super fun. But it has shown me that I need to just share my testimony more and show God's love for the children of God that they really are. I pray a lot every day and I can feel the spirit slowly work it's way into everything that I do. I'm having fun and the classes are amazing! I am learning a lot and I hope to soak it all in and when I go out and serve the people around me I'll be able to do it with the Lord on my and side and the spirit all around.
Oh yeah, my companion is a very big man and is tough. So don't worry I am safe. But everyone here is super happy to be here so I love just talking to everyone.
Thank you so much for being my amazing parents. You have taught me so much. Some things that I know the other Elders are "like what"!
Tell cousin Tyler that he was right about the Orange Juice. It is bad news bears! A couple of the Elders have got the sickness of the juice. haha!
You guys are amazing and I love you. I'll send pictures next week. I forgot to take my camera down stairs to up load the photo's and share what my companion and other Elders in my group look like. There are 4 sisters and 4 elders in my district. They are all nice and awesome and super in tune with the spirit. All of us are going to the same mission. I think that at least ten new missionaries are leaving to go to the Georgia Atlanta North mission. WOW that was awesome to find out that I wasn't the only one going out. There will be at least ten new Greenies going to be out there.
There is so much spirit here it is crazy amazing! I will try my best to be the missionary that is of legend. Well maybe just a good missionary. Tell Jordan one of my teachers served in the same mission as him and at the same time as him. Sister Polman or Palmen--something like that. But she was like awesome and I should tell you I know her.
I hope you guys aren't too "Cameran Sick" (Like the opposite of homesick)
Love you!
